The Magic Of An Intimate Wedding!
With no friends or family to help, Michael and Heather relied heavily on Sabina and Lina to make their wedding dreams come true.
‘Weddings by Amore’ are specialists at ensuring all the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed. They happily stepped in to arrange a civil wedding, all the paperwork for the happy couple and two witnesses for the actual ceremony.
Steeped in history, intrigue and romance, the fourteenth-century Palazzo Duchi of Santo Stefano in Taormina is a masterpiece of Sicilian Gothic art with characteristic elements from the Arab and Norman periods. The imposing square structure, the position of the building on the walls of the ancient village and the crenellated walls, today partly disappeared, remind us of an original Norman structure. Some elements of Arabic art such as the imposing lava stone frieze decorated with rhomboid insertions in white Syracuse stone, make this a very romantic and captivating venue.

A Religious Ceremony At The Cathedral
Traditional weddings are still hugely popular and Rebecca and Paul said their ‘I do’s’ the old fashioned way.
Sicily is a fantastic venue for a traditional wedding. Steeped in history and surrounded by family and friends, this couple enjoyed the full package, resulting in a very memorable and cherished wedding day.
Lina and Sabina helped them every step of the way. Their extensive guest list called for special attention to detail, a large seating area was created and all the guests needs were catered for. Everyone dined on fine Sicilian fayre surrounded by views of the spectacular Cathedral.
